We are excited to announce that Fisher has once again been selected to the TBEC Honor Roll based on the 2011 school year for the fourth year in a row!!! Of the more than 8,000 Texas public schools less than 4% will be so honored. Fisher is definitely included in an exclusive group!

The TBEC Honor Roll is the most prestigious award for sustained, academic excellence in Texas. It recognizes schools that have demonstrated three years of consistent, high performance in all subjects compared to other schools serving similar student populations. TBEC Honor Roll schools have the highest percentage of students performing at the state’s most rigorous standard -commended- in every subject. And, in this the last year of TAKS, the standards are the most demanding TBEC has ever had. Fisher has earned a place on the Honor Roll through hard work and student achievement over an extended period of time.

We would not have this award were it not for you as parents giving us the support and encouragement we need here at school to continue our drive toward success! You have helped Fisher to be the great school that it is! Thank you!
